Personal Growth
Most of us set aside very little time for personal growth.
Day after day zips by going through the same routines
while succumbing to old habits that yield very little growth.
The problem with this is, as the saying goes, if you are not
moving forward you are going backwards. Being in the
information age where things are changing at ever increasing
speeds it is more important than ever to be diligent in finding
time for continuing education while making yourself more and
more well rounded and more valuable. As a matter of fact the
current wisdom is that with information changing as quickly as
is it that 20% of the average person’s knowledge becomes
outdated every year. Given that stat you can see with little
growth your effectiveness and value decreases substantially in
a short amount of time. Strive to push and improve yourself,
keep developing as a person while sharing what you learn with
others and you will build a very fulfilling and meaningful lifestyle.
This habit of doing more than those around you almost always
reaps huge rewards as you separate yourself from the masses and
become more valuable to your employer, to your friends and family
and to society as a whole.
I encourage you to immerse yourself in the information in this
section as it is the foundation and testament of many truly
successful people.
